SS9: Last week we finished : Confederation Advantages/Disadvantage chart, Confederation 9 Q’s from readings (on webpage). On friday we did an exit slip on: Write two paragraphs: 1. Which level of Government has the strongest powers? 2. If the BNA Act were drawn up today what do you think would be different or similar? Mini presentations on Those Not Equal – will be presented on Tue end of class/Wed. On Wed we will have a unit test from Fur trade to Confederation.

Gen12: Last week we finished : Concept Map: “What were the main features of Khmer Rouge ideology? Who were the principal targets of the regime?” – handed in to Google Classroom. Friday we also did an exit slip on the following questions: Was the Khmer Rouge Tribunal Worth It?URL  2. Compare  in paragraph what happened to the Nuremberg Tribunal after WWII and what happened  by the courts in Rwanda/Cambodia (read this article). This week we are doing Bosnia and Kosovo genocide. Create a mini-presentation the significance of the following for the Yugoslavian Genocides.

Also we will be watching a movie on Khmer Rouge on thurs/fri.
