SS11: We did current events on the South China Sea, watched clips from Passchendaele movie, in small groups did a soldier’s video letter on Vimy Ridge, and started a WWI Research Project that will be due next week. Also next week we have a WWI Unit Test.

SS11: Today we finished the Vimy Essay and handed it in with the notes in class.

SS11: on Mon we read p.40-44 in Counterpoints and did p. 43 Q#1-5. Also Ex. 2-10 Poem. Tue we started Vimy Ridge Essay assignment.- details in google classroom. Due on Thursday at the end of class.

SS11: Concept map on Life in WWI Trenches due by end of class on Friday.

SS11: we did 10 Q’s on a political cartoon analysis. Was due at the end of the class. Cartoon in Classroom app & same q’s from our class website.

SS11: Ex. 2-1 is due today. Work for today is to complete the map of Europe in 1914.

SS11: Canadian Prime Minister Project (Notes & Paragraphs & Video ) due by end of Friday’s period. Details on class website.
