Today we started on the USA btw the wars with a focus on 1920’s. We did Unit2 Ex18a from the video & Evidence Q on the Automobile.

Today we did notes on the causes of WWII, plus Ex. 5-5 was HW. Groups also worked a little on Gov’t letters.

Today we had class time to finish Novel Study work- Journal cover page & Historical novel WS. Friday is novel study book club day. Thursday we will present our Victorian Era projects- due then.

We handed in the Heraldry project.

Also we worked on a castle X-Word today as we did some intro work on Castles of the M-Ages

Today we started a Heraldry assignment. This is due on Tues.

-Crest should represent: animal that represents you, symbol that illustrates you talents, family motto or quote that reflects family values, & object that symbolizes your family. Needs to be neatly coloured.

We wrapped up Germany today , finished video, did a practice quiz and talked about propaganda.

We did Ex.1 on WWII, we answered 5 Q’s from a video on Hitler. HW check was also done on the Gov’t review.

Anyone who missed the test yesterday need to write it on Connections next week.

Today we were put into groups and did some research & started preparing mini keynote presentations on topics involving the Victorian Era.

Watched video on elections. Then in groups they wrote out 5 ways to help increase voter turnouts for elections. These graphics were transfered to Mr. Reid
