SS8: The Civilization project was due today – both individual booklet and the group video

Hist12: We are finishing reading March series this week. During Wed class the booklet is due and students should work on the comic assignment in Pixton.

SS8: We are wrapping up

Ancient civilization project and doing filming and editing this week.

Hist12: Treaty of Versailles posters due today. Thursday is WWI unit test. Starting us Civil right movement and reading of March series.

SS8: We are almost finished the research and notes on Ancient civilization project. We will be starting the video’s in a day or two.

Hist12: Today we did Battles of WWI summary sheet and are about to do a Paris Peace Conference project.

SS8: We have done a KWL sheet on some Civilization video’s, then a second sheet on books and today we are doing a sheet by exploring the website (Ancient Civilizations Project Links).

Gen12: We have started WWI, did some notes and a scav hunt sheet. Also today finishing the Life in Trenches Concept map.

SS8: last few days we did exit slip q’s on Lat.Long. Today we started a sheet on Fall of Rome. It will be due on Tue at the end of class. Starting a research project this week also.

Hist12: We have done some questions on totalitarianism from last day. Today we started mini-presentations on Authoritarianism in the world today – presentations on Thursday

Grade 8 Inquiry students in Semester One have learned and practiced many research skills to set them up for high school. This work is evident in their Inquiry research project where they got to research any topic that they were interested in or passionate about.
