Hist12: Thursday next week we have our final unit test. Make sure both sheets on Vietnam are handed in and today we are completing the Vietnam music assignment. Starting term project today also.
Gen12: Term Project is due on Tues and we will also have the group project where you make a model for a site of remembrance – preferable also due tues for our Open House.
Two weeks left.
Gen12: working on MiniPrez that we will do on Monday on Yugoslavia wars.
Hist12: working on MiniPrez that we will do on Monday on US Civil Rights.
Gen12: we are into week 2/4 for the novel study now. We just finished three paragraph questions on Cambodia genocide.
Hist 12: We are about to finish the movie. Also current events quiz on Monday and the handout for it is due then too. Next week Cold War.
Gen12: Concept maps on Rwanda were due earlier this week. Today we did notes & 5 questions on Rwanda.
Hist12: Friday the Battles of WWII sheet is due. Yesterday we did some analysis questions on a propaganda film. Also We are just starting and signing up for the Unit Project.
Gen12: We finished the paragraph questions on Partisans (posted on class website). Both parts due. Just starting Rwanda.
Hist12: We have started WWII and completed a sheet on Causes of WWII, also two video sheets covering the phases of war. Next week we start to look at details of the main battles and then a major unit project.
Hist12: We did some notes on the causes of WWII, and then completed U3 Ex.7 on the causes of WWII. Due on Tues
Gen.12: This week the partisans 4 Q’s are due. Also we did a WS on the movie Remember.
Friday is the end of term. All work is due by then. Make sure your HW Check stamps have been counted by Mr. Reid
Hist12: Due Thurs is the book creator pages on the fascist leader. Friday is our test on Communism to Fascism – Outline given in class. Also we have an antisemitism WS due by end of week too.
Gen12: both the Holocaust research project and the Night reflections Q’s are due on Friday. Bring in your $30 and field trip forms.
Friday April 12th is the last day for any late work as it is the end of term.
Hist12: Today the chart on comparing Fascism,Communism,Democracy is due. Working on rise of Hitler this next week. Test Communism to Fascism on Friday next week.
Gen12: Two assignments due before term end. Term research project on the holocaust and the Night novel questions.
Hist12: We had 6 questions on China and a Venn diagram comparing communism in China and USSR – both due next day. Note we will have a test on Fascism and communism in two weeks at end of term.
Gen12: Last day we did minipresentations on Resistance. Did an exit slip today on holocaust books. Holocaust term project due April 12th. Night we are more than half way through and you can do about 1/2 q’s so far.
Next week spring break!
Gen12: We are watching Life is Beautiful and have a small group Word Cloud assignment. Also last day we did some 5 key points on Auschwitz video. You should have Night question #1 done now (see Classroom).
Hist12: We are finishing off Russia today with the 3 paragraph questions (see Classroom). End of class on Friday is the Russian Rev audio recording Assignment (see Classroom).
